Seafood trade terms
Sizes and packing are representative export-market specifications, not universal standards. Shrimp counts such as 16/20 are commonly pieces per lb. Fish and cephalopods often use g per piece, kg per piece or pieces per kg. Always confirm the buyer's counting basis.

Privacy & Security

What we collect
- Account details: your name, company, role, country, phone and email.
- What you post: offers, requirements, product photos, and messages sent through connection requests.
- Deal documents: Proforma Invoices and Purchase Orders you create or upload in a deal room, and any company or bank details you choose to save for reuse.
- Basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as your IP address, needed to keep the service working and secure.
- We do not ask for payment card numbers, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Why we collect it
- To run your account, show your listings, and let other members request a connection with you.
- To generate the Proforma Invoice and Purchase Order in a deal room.
- To send you the alerts you asked for, and important notices about your account.
- To keep the platform secure and to investigate abuse.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who can see what
- Public: your listings' product details, and, if you keep Directory visibility on, your company name, country and product groups.
- Never public: your email and phone number. They are shared with another member only after you accept their connection request, or after you send one and they accept yours.
- Deal rooms: visible only to the two businesses in that specific deal.
- Us: Nibha Global Trading, as the operator, can access data to run the platform, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not read your deal documents unless you ask us to help with one.
- We never share your data with advertisers, and we do not display third-party ads.
Where your data is stored
- The website is hosted on Netlify. The database, file storage, and account logins run on Supabase, which stores data on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Email alerts are sent through Resend.
- These are established infrastructure providers used by many companies, not homemade servers. Passwords are never stored in readable form: Supabase Auth stores only a salted hash, which even we cannot reverse.
- Marine Vault is currently on free plans with these providers while it is in early launch. A free plan is a billing tier, not weaker security — the same encryption and access controls apply. The practical limits are: Supabase pauses a free project after a period of no activity (we monitor for this) and free plans do not include automatic backups (we take manual exports periodically). We plan to move to paid tiers as the platform grows, specifically for backups and uptime guarantees, not because free-tier security is inferior.
- Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS) everywhere on the site, and the database enforces row-level security so that a member's private data cannot be read by other members, even if the front-end code were bypassed.
How long we keep it
- Listings expire automatically after up to 90 days unless renewed.
- Your account and its data are kept while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we will delete your personal data, other than records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, or that another member's deal record depends on.
Your choices
- You can hide your business from the Directory at any time in My Account → Profile & alerts.
- You can turn email alerts off in the same place.
- You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing nibhaglobaltrading@gmail.com.
If something goes wrong
- No system is unbreakable, and we do not claim Marine Vault is immune to attack. We use access controls, encryption and regular review of who can access what to reduce the risk.
- If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will tell you and take reasonable steps to limit the harm.
- Report a security concern to nibhaglobaltrading@gmail.com. We will not take action against a good-faith report.
